As the ghostwriter behind these features I endeavor to follow the unwritten laws of anonymity: Never step out of character. Be heard and not seen. Keep Oz behind the curtain at all costs. In this case, however, I’m making an exception. “Get over yourself,” my wife told me today. “I need an intervention, and you know it.” And so, for the first and probably last time, I will shift to the first-person, husband form to tell you all the truth: Tara has a coffee problem. But alas, I am an enabler. And so I must admit, I’ll probably take her wherever she wants to go to prove the character of these fuzzy, formidable little hand savers.
